Anime Lashes Review: The Secret to Manga-Eye Glam by EJLASHES

A few weeks ago, one of my regular clients came in for a refill and asked me right away, “Do you have those Anime-style lashes? I want that ‘manga heroine’ vibe so bad lately.”

Even though the lash strands look thick and structured, the 0.07mm faux mink fibers are incredibly light. My client was surprised too—she said, “These feel way lighter than I expected.”

During the application, I used a staggered mapping method to emphasize that iconic segmented Anime effect. I played with lengths around the center and outer corners of the eye, creating a sharp, focused look that instantly made her eyes pop. Honestly, the result was stunning. Her gaze became intense yet playful, and every photo looked like it had a built-in beauty filter.

What impressed me most was the longevity. Three weeks later, when she came back for a touch-up, the lash clusters were still holding their shape. No odd twisting, no clumping. They’re also easy to clean—just a foam lash cleanser and a light brush once a day is enough. Plus, they don’t seem to react poorly with different types of adhesive.

That said, I would recommend Anime Lashes mostly for clients who are used to wearing lash extensions, or who love doing photo shoots or expressive makeup. If you’re new to lash extensions or prefer an invisible, “no-lash” lash look, this might feel a little too bold for daily wear.

EJLASHES Anime Lashes are one of the few styles on the market that combine high-impact aesthetics with real comfort and wearability. They’ve definitely helped me diversify my lash menu and brought in more client interest. If you’re looking to channel that manga-girl energy, I’d say it’s absolutely worth trying.
